I love books, and just like any other bibliophile, I am constantly on the search for a good read. Here one can follow my search through my analysis of the quality of books I've read.
I'm not one who believes that lengthy book reviews with vague words like "profound" and "compelling" and "amazing" filling every paragraph creates a good book review. I find that I often have to read through paragraphs and paragraphs and still get little idea of whether I would enjoy a book.
My aim here is to write brief yet descriptive reviews which will help the readers know if the book will interest them. I hope it's helpful.
I read a variety of genres and styles of books - just whatever seems good, really. What appeals to me in a book is freshness. Fresh ideas, plots, and characters - especially the well-written sort - are the kinds of books I tend to enjoy best.
